In preparation of my own trip to Paris I've purchased David McCullough's latest book:
The Greater Journey
I've been a fan of McCullough's work for some time. His writing tends to bring people and places from the past alive. I am excited to read about and then and see the aspects of Paris that shaped the cultural designs of America from parks and museums, to the writings of James Fenimore Cooper and Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemens).
